Colonel Jack O'Neill retired from the military a year ago after leading an expedition through the Stargate, an ancient
portal which allows instantaneous travel to other galaxies. After an attack on the Cheyenne Mountain base through the Stargate,
Jack is called back to duty to explain how it could have happened if they had destroyed the gate on Abydos, the world he visited
through the Stargate, on his original mission. Jack confesses to not destroying the gate, and in fact, leaving Dr Daniel Jackson
alive and well on Abydos with a new wife.
The Jaffa soldiers are splattering against the protective titanium iris that SGC (Stargate Command) have installed
on the Stargate to prevent unauthorised entry. However, as Jack is trying to get Teal'c (the Jaffa who helped them escape
of Chulak) added as a member of his team it gradually becomes clear that the enemy they have to guard against is already in
SGC, in Kawalsky. The only way to take it out is to perform an operation. At first the suspicions on how the Goa'uld got into
Kawalsky go towards Teal'c and his premature symbiote, however, they realise that he is not the thread and the longer the
Goa'uld stays in Kawalsky the more control it will get over him. On their first mission together as SG-1, Teal'c, Carter, O'Neill and Jackson visit the planet Simarka and meet the Shavadai,
a race of people similar to the Mongols of Earth. In their society women are second class citizens, and Sam gets treated the
same. She gets involved with a pair of star-crossed lovers and has to prove her worth as the equal of any man - or die in
the attempt!
SG-1 visits a planet where half the planet is light and the other is darkness. Whilst on the planet the team unwittingly
become infected with a disease which causes the primitive cells in the body to activate, and they then bring back the desease
to earth. Can it be kept contained while Dr Fraiser (who seems to be immune) finds a cure with the help of Teal'c and Daniel
(who also seem to be immune)?
SG-1 go on what they think is a rescue mission to find SG-9. Problem is SG-9 and its leader Hanson don't want rescuing
- they have set themselves up as gods to the primitive people of the planet. When they become aware that the SGC has sent
SG1 to stop them, they decide kill them aswel. However, the SG1 has other plans. O'Neill is duplicated by a crystalline entity which returns to Earth with the rest of the team who are unaware of the duplication.
The entity just wanted to help Jack with his pain not realising the pain came from the death of his son and was emotional
and not physical. The entity cannot survive Earth's electromagnetic field and starts to decay, putting all near to him in
danger, including Jack's ex-wife.
SG-1 go chasing a creature called Fenri which Teal'c remembers has the power of invisibility. They arrive to find Apophis
already there with a hunting party. During the ensuing fight SG-1 are killed! Fortunately, they are revived by The Nox, a
gentle, small, peaceful, fairy-like race. SG-1 are worried that The Nox don't seem to understand the threat the Goa'uld pose
to them - but they soon learn you can't judge a race by their appearance! Armin Shimerman (Quark from DS9 and Snider Buffy's
headmaster) makes a guest appearance as one of The Nox.
Through the Stargate on Argos, the team meet a people whose maximum life span is 100 days. Whilst tasting the delicacy's
of the planet O'neill finds that he too has now caught what ever is affecting them, and begins to age rapidly. When they realise
that the average Argosian only lives 100 days the rest of the team must return to Earth to see if they can find a cure for
Jack - but they don't have much time.
In their search for allies against the Goa'uld, SG-1 go to Cimmeria - a planet Teal'c tells them Goa'uld avoid. Cimmeria
is the home world of the legendary Norse Gods. O'Neill and Teal'c are spirited away in a mysterious beam as soon as they emerge
from the Stargate, and Daniel and Sam have to try to rescue them, aided by Kendra a former Goa'uld host. During their fight
for freedom from the labyrinth in which they are trapped, Teal'c and O'Neill must fight an Unas - one of the original hosts
of the Goa'uld. Daniel discovers that a post-war team succeeded in getting the Stargate to work and a young professor, Ernest Littlefield,
actually traveled through the wormhole, but he didn't return. Joined by Catherine Langford, who originally recruited Daniel
and was Ernest's fiancée, SG-1 go in search of Littlefield. When they find him they they realise he has made a remarkable
discovery during his time alone.
Teal'c has a family, a wife and son that he left on Chulak when he joined SG-1. He was worried SGC wouldn't believe his
loyalty was with them, when he first joined, if they knew he had a family, and so he kept them a secret. Now it is time for
his son Rya'c to receive a Goa'uld larva, something Teal'c wants to prevent. SG-1 join him to try to capture a larva for study
on Earth, and to stop Rya'c becoming a servant of the Goa'uld.
Returning from a mission on Oannes O'Neill, Carter and Teal'c are in a state of shock, they saw Daniel killed on the planet
by fire. Really, Daniel is a captive of a creature called Nem who wants to know what happened to his mate Omoroca, the problem
is she was on Earth during the Baylonian era, 4,000 years ago. Is Daniel's Babylonian history up to the task?
Archaeologists accidentally awaken Hathor, a Goa'uld who has been asleep for a millennium. She uses a drug-like pink smoke
to seduce the men and get them to help her with her plan to take over the world. The drug only works on men and so it's left
to Carter, Fraiser, Teal'c (who's immune as he's a Jaffa) and the other women on the base to fight her.
SG-1 travel to a planet where the Goa'uld have killed everyone except a child called Cassandra. She gets taken back to
Earth and Sam bonds with her, then they discover the Goa'uld have used her as a Trojan horse, and planted a bomb in her chest.
Episode 15/ Cor-ai SG-1 travel to a world Teal'c has been to before, when he was First Prime to Apophis. Teal'c is put on trial for his past,
whilst the rest of SG-1 convince the inhabitants that Teal'c has changed. SG-1 rescue some people from a technologically advanced race (The Tollan) who are not prepared to share their technology
with Earth, as they consider Earth is not advanced enough to handle it responsibly. Military intelligence seem to be trying
to prove them right by trying to coerce them into helping build advanced weapons. It's up to SG-1 to help the Tollans relocate
to a safer place, and save Earth from the folly of military intelligence
Due to an explosion as the SG-1 team are going through the gate it malfuntions and Capt Carter and Col O'Neill find themselves
trapped on an icy planet. Jack's badly hurt and the DHD is in a block of ice. Can Sam get the gate to work, or can the SGC
figure out what happened and rescue them, before they freeze to death.
After a routine mission when the team return to the SGC they seem different, its not until Dr Fraiser examins them that
they realise the difference. They aren't human but are mechanoids. However, their memories seem to be original and they seem
to have no idea how they were turned into machines. Dr Daniel Jackson accidentally discovers a mirror that sends him to an alternate reality. On that Earth the Goa'ulds have
wiped out a large proportion of Earth's population and are just about to capture SGC. He must convince the Alternate SGC that
hes a friend and to help him get back.
Senator Kinsey, Chairman of the Appropriations Committee wants to close down the Stargate project.
Despite Daniels warning of what happened on the alternative world, and the previous missions, he can't be convinced that it's
worth the money and decides the project must be closed.
The Stargate is being closed down, but SG-1 know the Gou'ald are going to attack. They go through
the gate, armed to the teeth, without authorisation to try to defeat the Goa'uld before they get to Earth. They find they
are on a Goa'uld ship, full of Jaffa warriors, traveling to Earth to attack.
